Donate your Time or Talents

We can always use help with our many endeavors. We need volunteers to help return phone calls and provide the necessary information to those inquiring about low-cost spay/neuter programs available to them.  We need volunteers in the area to help drive the patients that are to be spayed and neutered to the vet.

manchester nh adopt a cat We are always looking for volunteers who can help us assess stray cat colonies and assist with trappingFoster homes are always in high demand, especially in the spring, when there are too many feral kittens for the few regular foster homes that we have.  Taming feral kittens is fun and very rewarding, especially when you see them come around and turn into little loves and go into their new forever home because you took the time to care.  Don't be afraid to take the step and call us for more information.  Experienced volunteers are readily available every step of the way to assist you with any fostering or other kind of volunteer work you may choose.  We need people who have warm barns that can take feral cats that we assist who cannot be returned to their area.  We are always looking for volunteers to help with our tabling events, posting literature and fundraising so we can help more animals.  There are currently just a few very special, dedicated people doing this work, and they could use a hand! Please volunteer .

Spay and Neuter

Among the many services that we provide, our focus is on locally ending animal suffering due to overpopulation by providing spay/neuter services to those in need.  Since its inception in 1994, Animal Allies has assisted thousands of people in New Hampshire with spaying or neutering their pets by acting as a referral resource, locating affordable spay and neuter programs for people with limited finances.

Outreach Center

OUR CENTER!!!!!!!!

Through the extreme generosity of Cynthia Davis and family our dream of having our own building has been realized. Our Center is located at 476 Front Street in Manchester, New Hampshire.

At our Center, we offer educational workshops and informative presentations from a variety of area animal advocates on all types of issues related to animals and provide resources and action tips to anyone interested in helping our furry, feathered, fur-less, scaled, friendly, feral, tame, (you get the picture) friends! We will have a different theme each month focusing on one specific animal cause.

We have wonderful cats available for adoption.  Cats that have been rescued off the streets and are looking for their forever home.  Formerly feral kittens that have been fostered, socialized, tamed and spayed/neutered are available as well.

Regular hours at the Center are Saturdays and Sundays from noon - 3:00 pm and Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Our Center is run strictly by volunteers with no paid staff, as we have always run our organization in the past, with every penny continuing to benefit the animals directly. We are always looking for more volunteers to help out, so please feel free to fill out an application online.

Directions:  Take exit 6 off of 293 (Amoskeag St.).  Keep right at the fork and continue toward Amoskeag Rotary.  At second light, bear right onto Front Street.  The Center is located approximately 1/2 mile on the left (purple building with lime green trim).

About Animal Allies of Manchester, NH

2 black catsAnimal Allies was founded in 1994 with the notion that a small group of dedicated individuals could truly make a difference. We saw the suffering of animals in the greater Manchester area and knew that through education and a little hard work, we could help to make their futures just a little bit brighter.

Strength in Numbers to Stop Suffering

We share a common respect and concern for all animals and we oppose cruelty in any form. We believe that all animals are entitled to the basic right not to suffer as so many of them silently do.  We also believe there is strength in numbers and that together, we can stop the silent suffering.
